It looked modernistic in 1958 and it still does, but now it's a classic. Body is made of lightweight sustain-enhancing korina wood for solid tone, finished in ebony. The 24-3/4" scale neck is mahogany with rosewood fingerboard. Electronics provided by 2 Alnico Classic and Classic Plus humbuckers controlled by 3-way switching for its signature soaring voice, one tone and 2 volume knobs.
