Marshall Amplification is a British company, founded by drummer Jim Marshall, that designs and manufactures guitar amplifiers. Marshall guitar amplifiers, are among the most recognized brands in popular music. Marshall is based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. Marshall amps were originally based on Fender amplifiers, but had their own sound, and were soon sought out by guitarists seeking that sound and more volume.
Marshall Amps have changed Rock and Roll History over the last 50 years and continue to be as popular and influential today. After all everyone wants to play through a full Marshall Stack even if its in your bedroom!
